Another storm has hit. Yesterday Fais and Ulithi reported strong winds and they were batting down the hatches. They must secure those tin roofs on the ground, the tarps over the roofs and hope they went into the shelters during the night. We have had bursts of heavy winds and rain, then calm, then more bursts. I hear the rain at night as it strikes the covereing by the windows. Walked to work wearing my blue "burka" as I call it, my trusty blue plastic rain poncho that always creates a smile from passerbys. At least a part of me is dry by the time I get to work. We'll see how many patients and staff make it in today. On the good news - it is not a cold rain!
