05.30.15. OI REPORT FROM ASOR

Asor is very close to Mogmog. We had to hurry as the next storm was approaching. The captain wanted to get to Fais to discharge supplies before the typhoon caused rough weather.

Here are a few photographs from the island and of the people.

Carlos preparing for immunizing those little ones.

Arthur, health assistant, Asor, very nice and helpful.

Cute dog.

Thomas, Melissa, Arthur and Carlos.

The next two pictures are my favorite of the trip. Am asking that they not be reproduced without permission and acknowledgement.

She survived Typhoon Maysak. Perhaos each storm serves as a reminder of that terrifying event.

Holding on for dear life.

Charles, from Public Health (Environmental Health and Sanitation), plays guitar. He is a nice man who would like to come to the US to work. He wil willing to go anywhere and do anything. And as a Micronesian resident, he would be legal. Any opportunities forhim? Just sent me a note and I will pursue.

She is a doll if there ever was one. So full of life and laughter.

Arthur immunizing a child.

New soalr panels.

New damage after Typhoon Noul.

The team. Melissa tunes us out a lot with her cell phone music.

These women invited me over to their house for a drink of water. They were great fun. Their houses were flattened.

More pictures coming soon!
