We are leaving on the ship Hapilmohol 1 for a three week outer island trip. We were delayed once because of Typhoon Noul, but probably more likely than not, will not be delayed by soon to be typhoon Dolphin (now a tropical storm headed to Guam).
For three weeks we will visit all of the dispensaries on the outer islands from Ulithi to Satawal. I will be teaching, doing the early elementary school exams if not done, and meeting with the women's groups, plus other things no doubt. This also means no blogging for the duration of the trip - no internet, cell phone, etc.
Hope you all stay safe. I will look for any messages in the comment section upon my return and ten share with you the highlights of this journey. The song playing in my head right now is from Gilligan's Island - a three hour tour. This is a three week tour!
Here is the current position of Tropical Storm Dolphin. We should be OK on the ship as it can always change direction to avoid the high winds.
