Shorty and I spent the day together. We worked at the office and then wnt for a walk - he loves walking to the park behind the hospital and he wades. No swimming yet. Then we had lunch, a nap, more work, a stroll, dinner out at Trader's Ridge (which is not called that anymore), Church, now home. He is pestering me as I try to write but I am trying to engage him in his toys.
Saw Chocolate again today. Poor old dog. He feebly barked at Shorty - he is still the alpha dog, but did manage the strength to walk home with me. So he was fed twice. I needto don on some surgical garb and scrub him well. His coat is just in bad shape.
Today was graduation from Yap High School so there was a lot of activity around the community enter for the ceremony. And the ship left again for the outer islands, so there is more excitement with that departure. Someone wanted me to go on this trip, but it is too soon for me from the last one. Plus I would not get the semi private clinic room so it would be mostly crowded with three other people.
Here are a few pictures from roday:
Chocolate and his mangy coat. But he is smiling as he was just fed. He needs a really good bath..
Sunset tonight.
Sweet Baby. One of Judith's strays that I have inherited. She is so frail looking that I feed her everything I have on me at the time. She had one hind foot amputated but still manages to hobble back and forth. She has learned that she is more likely to be fed if she is close to the hospital (where she is in this picture) or at Daniel's house.
