Angie - who has Riyuul and Caddy, loves the pups. So do her four-year old twins. She said the twins play with them all of the time and the pups stay right by the house and do not wander. The power of food and treats. I gave her some of both for them. She will take pictures of them at Christmas for us. Angie was all smiles when she came to work on Monday - the pups are that much fun.
Angie - who has Bandit, also loves him. (A different Angie). She has two children, a daughter Kaylani who is 6 and a son Caleb who is one. Kaylani came with her Mom to pick up Bandit and she was listening. I talked about him having a towel to sleep on, a bath, the type of food he ate, etc. Guess what? Kaylani has provided Bandit with his very own towel and gives him a bath with head and shoulders every day. Then she brushes him and feeds him. Bandit also plays with their other dog plus the kids. Looks like Bandit hit the jackpot. Kaylani loves animals - maybe she will be a vet? Yap could use one. I gave her my cell phone and she took pictures of her Christmas tree and Bandit for me.
Daniel - who has adopted Shorty, cooks him two meals a day and serves him in a skillet. Shorty has also lucked out. He now has a porch to sit on and he can now take refuge from the big dogs that chase him. He still comes up to me for his treats, but he is also now running on a full tummy. Sometimes when he sees me in the corridors (and he is resting under a car) he wags his tail and looks and smiles. He is no longer starved. And he still loves his tummy rubs.
Chocolate is a hit and miss situation. Have not seen him for a couple days and he was starving when I did see him. Blondie waits for me each morning and after she eats she comes to the hospital, then plays with the other big dogs. She does not really bother Shorty too much although he does run from her.
Kaylani and Bandit. He is still wearing his "Happy Birthday" ribbon! Isn't Kaylani beautiful?
He's looking good. And he is in the right home.
